Established in 2002 by British born Lorraine Ellis, Get Married in Florida LLC is a full service destination wedding planning company. Get Married in Florida is an independent company specializing in weddings in Orlando, Florida.

Being from the UK originally, Lorraine understand first-hand what couples from the UK expect when planning a wedding abroad.

Get Married in Florida was founded to assist busy Brides and Grooms with arranging an overseas wedding here in Orlando, Florida. Our experienced team listens to Brides and Grooms, make suggestions and provide the wedding abroad they have been looking for.

Planning a wedding is an exciting time for a couple but it can also be a stressful time especially trying to organize a wedding from so far away. This is where our service comes in. Lorraine and her team's dedication to your wedding is the reason for the success of Get Married in Florida. From the first point of contact, Lorraine and her team will be with you every step of the way. Whether it is just the two of you or a large group, we will take care of all the details.

Our Service

● Organizing a wedding from overseas or out of state can be a daunting task. We at Get Married in Florida will work with you to ensure a worry-free wedding - even from far away. We will guide you through your location selection and will assist you in booking the minister or Notary for your wedding, ordering your wedding day flowers, hiring experienced professionals - like photographers, videographers, hair stylists, musicians, transportation for you and your guests. ordering your wedding cake and the champagne to toast your future. We'll even arrange the wedding licence before you arrive in Florida. We can also pre-arrange after wedding dinners/receptions. You will have a dedicated Wedding team based in Orlando, Florida, who will help you plan your special day.

● Through emails and phone calls we make sure that the day reflects you and your wedding vision.

● All your wedding arrangements will be confirmed to you by email or by phone.

Your wedding team.
● Upon arrival in Florida, you should contact us to arrange a pre-wedding meeting at our office. You may of course arrange this prior to your arrival by email/phone. 

● Our coordinator will be there on the day to ensure "It's a day to remember." Let us worry about the arrangements. All you have to do is show up!

● Once the photographs are ready, you will be invited to collect them from our offices near International Drive.

Suggesting and confirming a venue.
● We have various locations suggested on this web site, which over the years have proved to be our most popular locations.. Once you have decided upon a location, we will confirm the date and time with the appropriate location. We even provide the driving directions.

Arranging a Minister/Notary Public.
● For your special day, we book a non-denomination Minister or Notary Public depending on the location.

Wedding Licence.
● You can apply for your wedding licence by post. Click the option on the left to arrange your licence by mail or alternatively you can personally visit the Courthouse, we assist you with the driving directions.

After the wedding.
● After the Wedding ceremony, we can recommend restaurants or some of our venues now offer reception dinners.

Deposit.
● The deposit required to make a wedding booking is 35% of the package price with the balance due 30 days before the wedding.
